It’s Showtime!

It's showtime!

8:45am radar shows bands of showers and thunderstorms moving inland this morning...movement is NW. Rain will be on the increase this afternoon for south-central Texas and will be ongoing over south Texas, where the highest rain totals will fall. Our main rain window will be open until Thursday afternoon, but scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain in the forecast through the weekend.

Flash flood watches have moved further south, but that still doesn't mean we won't see a few heavy tropical downpours in areas that are not in the watch.

As always, tune to your local NOAA radio or make sure you have an emergency app for your phone to alert you to any warnings for your specific location.

The NHC still thinks tropical cyclone #1 will turn into Alberto before moving into Mexico later this evening...we shall see!

Please post any rain totals during the day and let us know where you are located.
