No surprise...our drought is getting worse! I don't think I've ever seen so much red on the rainfall map for October...only a very small percentage of the state has had any rain at all. Below are all of the depressing details.
While it continues to look like we could see some rain towards the end of next week and or the first week of November, I still don't see anything close to a model consensus for what I would call a rain event. The 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks continue to look promising, so I'm still going to remain positive that we will start seeing wet fronts instead of dry ones.
