I smell a pattern change!

I'm feeling pretty good this afternoon that my prediction for November to be a wet month may verify!
Our first low will develop next week over the SW, bringing more mountain snows and rain to UT and Colorado, then moving NE, giving us some fringe rain around the 30th and 31st. What's exciting is the next low...three of the major models are forecasting a low pressure to develop to our west in Mexico around the 4th, then slowly move east, ushering in lots of Pacific moisture into our area. This marks a major pattern change for us, with the southern branch of the jet stream finally getting active. While this doesn't chill us down, if it continues, we could see more wet storms throughout November. As always, hold your excitement for a few more days until we get closer to the end of the month.
