Is a conveyor belt of lows setting up?

It's nice to see the models looking more bullish for rain in November as each day passes! In the short term, the low that will bring a lot of rain and snow to UT and CO, will also send down a front on Halloween, potentially producing some scattered storms and showers from Wednesday-Friday. The front is not expected to make it much further south than the Hill Country.
Next Sunday, the 3rd, a strong low will form off of Baja and slowly drift east, then track to the NE around the 5th or 6th. This should bring in lots of Pacific moisture into Texas on a SW flow. The GFS is now forecasting another low to develop off of Baja again on the 11th. This would give us another round of rain as we head towards the middle of November.
Below are the latest model runs for Halloween rain chances and overall rain totals through the 5th of November. Temperatures are forecast to remain above normal, but if we get the rain and clouds it will feel a little bit more fallish than it has been!
