Yesterday's sneaky, day before April Fool's Day, big storms around Bexar County, added some additional rain totals for the month of March and unfortunately, some large hail! There were also some storms in south Texas yesterday afternoon.
Even though we had to suffer through dust storms, high winds and almost zero rain for most of the month, many locations (especially southern counties), ended up with close to or above average rainfall for March thanks to our end of the month storm system last week. For the year, all of south-central Texas is below normal for rainfall. South Texas has fared better and the LRGV, with their flooding rains last week, is way above normal.
As for our next potential rain event, not much change in the models over the past 24hrs...the best odds remain north of HWY 90 and I-10 East.
Below are lots of graphics! Feel free to share your March totals as well...
