After another foggy misty morning, we have warmed up quickly, with most locations in the upper 80's to low 90's. We'll continue with mostly cloudy mornings and hot afternoons this week ahead of a very strong cold front that will sweep through on Saturday. Lows will drop into the 40's and even some 30's in the Hill Country, from Sunday through Tuesday of next week!

As for rain, at the present time, the best odds will be along and to the north of HWY 90 and IH-10 East from Thursday-Saturday, thanks to a stationary front and a trough to our NW. Since some of the rain odds are based on how far the front goes south on Thursday before going stationary, better rain odds could shift further south if the front nudges further south than forecast. By Saturday, the front gets an extra push and finally moves through all of south Texas by late on Saturday.
