Slight chance for severe weather in the next few days.

While the odds are very slim, we'll be watching the skies this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon as a dryline moves east during the day from West Texas. There is also a stationary front to our NW that could also fire up some storms as well. Just like a couple of days ago, it doesn't take a lot for a line of thunderstorms to form along a stationary front or dryline. The Storm Prediction Center keeps most of south-central Texas to the south of the major action today and tomorrow, but on Friday, the odds for severe weather ramp up even to the SW of HWY 90. Friday will be our best chances for rain and storms as an upper-level trough sweeps through the state, dragging a very strong cold front behind it on Saturday.

Sunday-Tuesday will see lows in the 30's (Hill Country) to 40's for most of south-central and south Texas. Next week will be absolutely perfect for anything outdoors...except for swimming!
