Disappointing for many areas yesterday.

Despite the large area that was put into a Flood Watch yesterday afternoon by the NWS, last night's rain stayed generally north of a Kerrville to Canyon Lake to a San Marcos line. Most of the models did not handle this event well at all.

It was nice to see Kendall, Blanco, Gillespie, Mason, Kimble, Llano and Burnet counties finally getting some decent rain. The highest total I have seen was 4.38 inches of rain just north of Blanco.

Our rain window will continue to stay open through Sunday, but most of the activity will be scattered...more on that in my PM post.

If you recorded any rain, how much and where?

Mark
