After another hot day, we will get 48hours of relief as a dry cool front moves through tonight. We will see our highs drop back into the 80's for Tuesday and Wednesday before heading back into the 90's on Thursday.
By Friday, more clouds appear ahead of a trough in the SW, that will eventually move through NM, then veer NE into the Panhandle. As usual, we will only see scraps from this system, with most of the rain staying in north Texas. For us, there will be a chance for rain along and north of HWY 90 and I-10 East, with the best odds in the northern Hill Country. There will be chances for showers and thunderstorms Friday night through Sunday.
Better odds appear to move in the last weekend of the month (25th-28th). Most of the models are forecasting a very decent rain event as of today's runs. Since we are still over 10 days out, I'll not get my hopes up yet!
