Nice to see some cooler temperatures out there today, thanks to the cool front that moved through early this morning. Highs as of post time are in the upper 70's and low 80's in most of south-central Texas and the northern counties of south Texas. Unfortunately, the front died over south Texas, so I'm still seeing some 90's down there.

Warm windy and humid for the next week, with slightly lower temperatures over the weekend, thanks to increased rain odds and more clouds. No big change in the model runs, with the best odds for rain staying along and north of HWY 90 and I-10 east.

Easter looks warm with highs in the 80's and 90's, with a chance for rain, mainly for south-central Texas.

The models continue to look much more bullish for a second round of rain from the 25th-30th and the latest 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks from the CPC, show better than 50/50 odds for above normal chances for rain.

The cool front has gone stationary in south Texas as of post time.
