The latest model runs are forecasting some scattered storms on Saturday, but most of the activity will wait until the evening as a cool front ignites a line of storms between midnight and dawn. While most of heavier rain will stay to the NE, the line of storms will drop into the Hill Country and may even go south of a HWY 90 to IH-10 line before they go "poof" on Sunday morning. There will be a chance for severe storms with this system...graphics below.
As of today, it looks like the storms should be out of our area by noon, so afternoon Easter activities look rain free and pretty nice, with highs in the 80's and low humidity behind the cool front.
Rain odds are still looking great for the last few days of the month...more on that tomorrow.
