Final day for rain chances…
8-4-24. 2:25pm. This Update is brought to you by Davy Ranch Supply in Yorktown, TX. davyranchsupply.com
There were a few lucky rain lottery winners yesterday evening and overnight, with Sisterdale coming in at 1.5 inches and just east of Dripping Springs recording 1.2 inches.
As I work on this post, storms are moving through the Austin area and the western sections of the Hill Country thanks to a disturbance over north central Texas. This will be the last day of rain before the Hell High moves east and shuts us down for the remainder of the week and possibly the following week as well.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Debby is slowly making her way into the Panhandle of Florida. The SE will be seeing tons of rain this week as the storm moves inland, then possibly stalls in the Carolinas. We will be watching in the Carribean for a possible tropical something to develop over the next week...depending on where our high pressure ends up, this possible storm might have a chance to make it into the Gulf.
If you were a lucky rainfall lottery winner, let us know!
Mark
