Still a slight chance for severe storms tomorrow night, then a good chance for more rain starting the 13th…

Not much change over the past 24 hours, weather wise. Look for a foggy and drizzly Thursday morning, then a chance for scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon in northern sections of south-central Texas, after midnight for southern parts of south-central Texas and south Texas. The best odds for rain will be north of San Antonio. Below are all of the details from our SA-Austin NWS along with the latest model runs.

I continue to feel optimistic about our next chance for rain, starting around the 13th. I have included the Euro, Canadian and the GFS models extended through the 16th. I think the second half of the month will end up being above normal for rainfall. Don’t forget that March is normally a fairly dry month!
