Lots of rain coming if you live in the Gulf of Mexico!

If you want to see lots of rain this week, rent a boat and head out into the Gulf of Mexico! Never mind that you might be dealing with a tropical storm...
The latest-greatest model runs continue to forecast our tropical something to turn into a tropical storm or minimal hurricane before moving into either Beaumont-Port Aurthur or western Louisianna by Thursday. At this point, the only unknowns are how much rain the coast gets and how far inland the rain goes. Most of the models are predicting 3-6 inches of rain along the coast, but not much as you move inland.
For the rest of us, another cool night ahead on Monday morning, then look for slight chances for scattered storms on Tuesday and Wednesday, with lows in the 70's and highs in the low to mid 90's.
