Francine will be staying away from us!

Well, we now have Tropical Storm Francine. Based on her latest track info, her rain effects on Texas will be limited to the LRGV, areas right on the coast and far east Texas...and of course Louisiana!

Below is the latest tracking info and model runs for rain from the storm. While none of us wants a hurricane, it would have been nice if Francine would have steered a little closer to Texas to drop some needed rain, but that's what happens when you have high pressure over you!

I'll have a post out tomorrow discussing when I see another potential rain event.
