Drizzle and showers continue through Wednesday.
12-15-24. 3:30pm. This update is brought to you by Dietz-McLean Optical. www.dmoptical.com
For the holidays, some of our sponsors are letting me post a photo of them so you can see the faces behind the logos! Today it’s Mclean Optical, featuring three generations of the Mclean family: l-r Cliff McLean, Jim McLean, Drake McLean and Zach McLean. Unfortunately, the family recently lost Jim McLean. We thank them for their gracious support and hope that if any of you need new glasses or contacts, you will consider using them to fill your prescription!
Our drizzly and warm weather continues. I just ran a 72-hour NWS rainfall total and to my surprise, some locations have actually recorded over a half an inch of rain. As I work on this post, there are showers showing up on the radar.
Tomorrow’s front will go essentially go “poof” before reaching the southern counties of south-central Texas. There will be a chance for some showers and thunderstorms Monday night through Wednesday as a “real” front moves through around midday on Wednesday. 40’s for lows and 60’s for highs through the weekend, then a warm-up just in time for Christmas! As of today, it’s looking like 70’s and even a few 80’s on Christmas with partly cloudy skies. Unfortunately, the much above average temperatures will continue for at least another 1-2 weeks!
How much drizzle and rain has fallen at your place over the past three days and where?
