First a shot of some cool, dry air, then the giant humidifier gets turned back on, with tropical air returning quickly.
Our cool front booster blows through tomorrow with very low odds for any rain, but good odds for winds gusting to 30mph. Look for Sunday and Monday to be dry, before tropical moisture begins moving in on Tuesday, thanks to the Caribbean wave and the low pressure that has been camping out along the coast all week. The two features will interact with the front as it moves offshore over the weekend, and we could see a tropical depression form by Wednesday (40%). Since there is no circulation as of today, there is no official track of where this future storm may go as of this post. The models mostly agree that this will mainly impact the coast and the coastal plains, but heavier rains could move inland to at least San Antonio.
There should be better info tomorrow...meanwhile, enjoy the cooler temps!
