I'll have an update on our short-range weather this afternoon, but the CPC recently updated their long-range outlooks this week, so I thought I would share that info along with some other model runs for this summer and April.

As I have mentioned in the past, in my opinion, the CPC tends to go with the current pattern and use that for its long-range forecasts. Looking over their outlook for April and for the summer, the see our odds better than 50/50 for continued above normal temperatures and either drier than normal rainfall or a flip of the coin for rainfall. All of the shorter-range models are predicting a wet April and I'm still leaning towards an active hurricane season for Texas, so one big storm could dramatically increase our yearly rainfall.

Below are the details!
