A rain event looks likely next week!

While there is a slight chance for scattered storms tomorrow night and early Monday with the passage of a dying cool front, the odds are pretty low, along with forecast rainfall totals. Our big player will be a slow-moving trough and its disturbances that impact us from Wednesday night through Friday. When you look at the models, don't get too focused on exactly where they are forecasting big rain totals, because that will most likely be changing over the few days. There will, however, be a chance for some training storms (I call a "rain train" and even though it seems hard to imagine, a chance for some flooding...we just don't know where right now.

After Friday, there could be some additional rain the first week of April, but more than likely, we will return to dry weather again for at least a week.
