A few possible surprises in store...

As much as it looks like a northern and NE counties of south-central Texas event tomorrow, there could be a surprise for south Texas and the coastal plains on Friday morning. The latest HRRR model thinks storms will move into Laredo to bring some hefty storms into Laredo Friday morning, then send them NE towards counties to the south of San Antonio, Corpus and eventually Victoria. I'm sure a lot of you would be happy if this model verifies! Unfortunately, the mini desert of the southern Hill Country does not look like they will get any or much relief from this storm.

For now, I'm not seeing another rain chance for at least a week.

As usual, there will be some severe storms on Thursday and Friday...please tune to your local NOAA weather radio or emergency apps for warnings!
