Rain odds looking good if you live in NE Texas!

As of post time, I'm not feeling very optimistic on our next round of rain chances unless you live in the northern and eastern counties of south-central Texas (Johnson City eastward). I'm hoping that the models get it wrong again and we see more storms over the Hill Country and southern counties of south-central Texas and northern counties of south Texas.

The ignitor of the potential storms will be a dry-line and cool front working their way eastward on Thursday. While our best odds for rain will be Thursday and Thursday afternoon, there will be tiny chances for scattered storms on Friday. As is always the case in May, some of the storms could become severe...large hail and high winds will be the biggest threat!

Once this system moves east, look for gradually warming temps back into the 90's and almost zero chances for rain for at least 7-10 days.
