It's showtime!
Not much change since my last post yesterday, except the Storm Prediction Center has dropped the "Enhanced" zone for severe storms a little further south, now including Austin. The yellow zone for "Slight" chance for severe storms has also dropped further south and now includes San Antonio. The best odds for heavier rain continues to be along and north of a line from San Angelo to Austin to Houston. On Friday morning, most of the models are now forecasting storms to form along a Laredo to Corpus to Victoria line, as I mentioned yesterday when the HRRR model was the only one predicting that.
I'll add any Severe Thunderstorm Watches in the comments section of this post this afternoon if any evolve. Good luck to everyone and please always make sure you tune to your local NOAA radio or emergency apps for warnings for your location.
