Monstrous Milton is about to punish Florida…

I'm watching the live video from Ft. Meyers Beach, Florida that I posted this morning, and it is chilling to see how the weather is rapidly going downhill as Milton approaches from the SW. A pier that was intact is now partially gone and water is starting to onto the road that runs along the beach. Hard to believe that Florida is being punished again very close to where Helene hit just a couple of weeks ago.

For us, the only change in our pattern is a decent front that should be through late Monday or early Tuesday of next week. I have the latest NBM model runs for highs and lows, and we could see a pleasant week of upper 40's for the Hill Country and 50's for most other areas for lows and highs in the upper 70's to low 80's for highs through at least Saturday of next week! Still no chance for rain for at least a week.
