Well, if you like temperatures at or near the century mark and lots of sun, this is your week! While there is a slight chance for another storm to sneak in from the west like last night, look for mostly dry conditions for South-Central and South Texas for the next week. The latest HRRR model thinks some storms could move into south Texas from Mexico tomorrow evening...we shall see if this model changes its mind on Monday. Some of the models are hinting at a rain event around the 10th, but that's pretty far out to get excited. The CPC 6-10 and 8-14 day forecast keeps us in slightly better than 50-50 odds for above normal precipitation.

Nothing is happening in the tropics right now, but it's that time of the year to start looking!
