Hot and hotter this week!

6-3-24. 4pm. This update is brought to you by Davy Ranch Supply in Yorktown, TX. davyranchsupply.com

Other than the heat, there isn't a lot to talk about this week. Most of south Texas is in a heat advisory the rest of the day. The latest HRRR model still thinks some storms over the Mexican mountains will make a run for the border this afternoon and could impact Eagle Pass and Laredo before moving east into south Texas before they go "poof". I have included the latest forecast radar image for 7pm. Some of the other models think we could see some very scattered storms on Wednesday, but for the most part, look for continued hot and humid weather.

Nothing in the tropics for the next 7 days and none of the models are predicting anything tropical for the next 10 days. The very long-range models continue to forecast some decent rain during the second half of June, but that's still too far out to get excited about.

Stay cool!
