Nice to see yet another "surprise storm" event this morning as storms formed in the far NW Hill Country, then moved SE. At least one station in Karnes County reported over an inch of rain with these morning storms. As of post time, they are currently impacting Victoria. My weather station in NW Bexar County, which had virtually missed out on the previous rains, recorded 0.38 inches.

The latest model runs show the best odds for rain today to be along the border from Big Bend to Del Rio and possibly the western counties of South-Central Texas, who have seen little of our recent rains. This will be our last day for rain chances for a while as high pressure moves in and our temperatures move back up into the mid to upper 90's over the next week.

I'll have a post out tomorrow looking down the road for more rain.
