Hot, a chance for rain, then a possible freeze by late next week!

Looks like we could see a taste of the extreme over the next 7 days, with highs flirting or exceeding 90 degrees tomorrow, (and already doing so in south Texas today) then possible freezing lows by next Thursday and Friday!

A cold front will take a dive into Texas tomorrow, stalling out in the Hill Country tomorrow night. Depending on how far south the front goes before becoming stationary, will impact Sunday’s lows and highs…if you are behind the front, look for lows in the 40’s and 50’s and highs only in the upper 50’s to 60’s. South of the front, lows will be in the 60’s and highs will be in the 70’s and 80’s. An approaching trough to our NW and eventually another cold front, will give us a chance for rain from Monday night through Wednesday. Not much change on where the best rain odds will be found…mainly north of a Del Rio to San Antonio to Houston line.

A chance that there will be two days of morning lows around or below freezing (especially the Hill Country) on Thursday and Friday. Highs will be mainly in the 50’s and 60’s.
