Cloudy in the mornings, partly cloudy in the afternoons with above normal highs and maybe some rain and maybe some cooler air.
Wow! As of post time, I’m seeing some 90-degree plus temperatures along the SW border and in a couple of locations in south Texas.
A wimpy front will go stationary over our area on Saturday…ahead of it we will likely see record highs in the upper 80’s and 90’s. A short-wave trough will approach from the NW, upping our rain odds and sending down a stronger front on Tuesday, however even that front won’t impact our temperatures very much, with lows in the 50’s and highs in the 70’s. Finally, by Thursday, we could see some colder air from yet another front. Lows may drop into the 30’s and 40’s and highs in the 50’s and 60’s. Arctic air is looking unlikely over the next two weeks.
Most of the models are keeping the better rain totals north of HWY 90 and I-10 East…so not much, if any for south Texas.
