Saran wrap weather this week! When heat indexes get over 100 degrees, it feels like you took a box of Saran wrap, wrapped yourself in in plastic, then walked outside! With last week's rain we will avoid 100 degrees in most spots, but it will feel like 105-110 degrees with the added humidity...I'm not sure that's a good trade off!

There will be a few coastal plains pm poppers, but doubtful that any of those reach south-central Texas. Still watching the potential for a tropical something to develop in the southern Gulf in the next 7 days, but the odds continue to be only 20%. I'm still seeing the potential for a slight easing of our high pressure around next week, but certainly no major rain events on the horizon.
