Over the past month we have seen some improvement in our drought conditions for most of our area with the exception of the far western counties of south-central Texas. For the year, much of the Hill Country and western counties are running below normal for rainfall. South Texas and the coastal plains are for the most past, drought free now!

Lake levels continue to be on the low side for many areas...they are in need of a major rain event to bring them back to normal.
