Even though it’s only for 7 counties, there are a lot of people who will be impacted if ice forms tonight and early tomorrow. There is a Winter Weather Advisory for Hays, Comal, Bexar, Caldwell, Guadalupe, Wilson and Gonzales counties from 6pm tonight through 9am tomorrow morning. There could be freezing rain totals of up to a tenth of an inch. Hopefully, we all end up with at least some liquid, although the best odds will be along the coast and the coastal plains.

Tomorrow marks the end of the arctic air…we will warm up into the 60’s on Sunday and 70’s on Monday! Mild and dry through the end of the month. I will share the latest spring outlook from the NWS later this weekend and look at some long-range models.

Stay safe out there and please avoid driving tonight and tomorrow if you are in the Winter Weather Advisory zone and surrounding counties…ice sucks!
