Did I say something stupid about a week ago, like we won't be seeing 100-degree temps anymore this season? Maybe we shouldn't talk about "Fry-Day" then, when we could see highs in the upper 90's to low 100's! 🥵
In other weather news, Hurricane Francine is moving onshore SW of New Orleans in Louisiana as a Cat 2 storm with sustained winds of 100 mph. Prayers for all of you in that area.
As far as rain odds go, the remnants of a disturbance that has a 70% chance of becoming a depression or tropical storm in the next couple of days off the western coast of Mexico, could drop some rain, mostly over far south Texas on Sunday and Monday. Other than that, we may have to wait until the third week of the month before we see some decent rain odds move back into the picture.

Beyond Francine, there are other potential storms forming in the Atlantic, but they are way too far away to get concerned about.
This disturbance in the Pacific may bring some slight rain chances on Sunday and Monday of next week.
