Hot and boring…

If you like temperatures in the upper 90's and low 100's, you'll love the next few days! Nature gave us a couple of fallish days earlier this week and now it's payback time! Rainfall odds have just about gone poof, with only slight chances on Monday...slightly better in the LRGV.
Looking further down the line, unless a tropical something appears, we may have to wait close to 10 days before we see our next potential rain event.
On a positive note, drought conditions for our area have improved since May with parts of the Hill Country now in "Severe Drought" instead of "Exceptional Drought". I know, they both suck, but there has been improvement. What's great is that most of our area is either in "No Drought" or "Abnormally Dry".
FYI: I'm heading out of town for a couple of weeks and will be in the Pacific Time Zone for much of our travels. I'll still try to post once a day, but my posts may be coming fairly late in the evening or in the morning. For at least a week, my vacation is perfectly timed with fairly boring weather ahead!
