Lunar eclipse, then the return of the winds!

3-13-25. 3pm. This Update is brought to you by Sedley's Grass Fed Beef. Sedley's Grass Fed Beef is a family-owned farm to table beef cattle operation located in western Gonzales County roughly 50 miles east of San Antonio and 70 miles south of Austin. www.sedleysgrassfedbeef.com

Let's talk about something positive first! If you can stay awake, there will be a total lunar eclipse tonight roughly from 1:30-2:30am. As of post time, there should only be a few high clouds, which shouldn't obscure the eclipse very much, if any. Below are the graphics and an image I took back in 2022. It will be snowing heavily up in SW CO overnight where I live, so I won't bother even trying to take a new version...I'll be sleeping through it!

OK...now the 💩part of the forecast!

Yet another strong upper-level low will be moving through north Texas tomorrow, dragging in a Pacific front in the afternoon and kicking up winds not only on Friday, but Saturday as well. On Saturday, look for some dust thrown in just to make things even worse!

On a positive note, lows will drop into the 40's and 50's over the weekend and highs will be in the 70's and 80's instead of the 90's.

Still no signs of a decent rain event on the horizon...

Mark
