Our mighty mid-level low is blowing up the Hell High!

Our mighty mid-level low is busting up the Hell High, sending it north and ushering in some tropical moisture into much of Texas this afternoon! Radar is currently looking great as pm poppers are starting to move into south and south-central Texas. This low will continue moving west over the next couple of days before going "poof" by Thursday. On Friday, a cool front will take a dive into at least central Texas and possibly further south by Saturday. This will add a spark to our super moist atmosphere and continue our decent rain odds into Labor Day.

With a lack of high pressure over us, afternoon rain odds will continue to be decent through at least the first week of September.

Meanwhile, the tropics continue to look spookily quiet.
