A slight chance for rain…

With a front draped to our north, we have a slight chance for some wildly scattered storms this afternoon and evening from San Antonio and north. In fact, as I work on this post, there are a few small cells forming around Austin and along I-35. I don't see any of these storms making it south of San Antonio, but as we know, weather surprises can happen.

By Sunday we are back to our regularly scheduled summer programing of heat and very low odds for rain. There is a chance for a tropical something to develop in the Carribean over the next week, but every model I have seen, takes this future storm to the NE.

High temperatures over the next week will run around or slightly over 100 degrees. Until the Hell High breaks up or moves, we can expect no relief in the heat.

Fingers crossed that a few of you hit the rain lottery this afternoon and evening!
