A couple of cool mornings, then the heat is on!

Yet another windy day out there today with gusts for most of our area in the upper 20's and 30's.
We saw quite a few lows this morning in the 30's and we will see even more tomorrow morning as dry cool air settles in behind yesterday's cold front. If you flirted with freezing in the low spots in the Hill Country last night, you might see a real one tonight! For most of our area, look for 30's and 40's for lows. Tuesday morning's lows will be mainly in the 40's before we start warming up quickly into the 80's for highs on Tuesday and Wednesday, then 90's for Thursday and Friday, ahead of our next dry front.
Speaking of dry, the long-range models continue their depressing ways through at least the 20th. The very distant long-range models are a little more bullish for rain during the last week of the month, but we all know how unreliable long-range models are, so let's not get our hopes up too much!
Hang in there...a change will eventually occur.
