You know it's a bad weather week when all you have to talk about is morning lows and fire danger!

We did have quite a few freezing temps in the Hill Country and even in northern Bexar County this morning...hoping you covered your plants last night! It will be another chilly night tonight, but I don't think we will see any more freezes, just mainly 40's.

Our next front (really more of a dry line) arrives on Wednesday, along with even more wind and low humidity, which is why the NWS has issued a Fire Weather Watch for parts of the Hill Country and western counties. I would imagine that this will be turning into a Red Flag warning by Wednesday.

Temperatures will spike into the 80's and 90's on Thursday, then move even higher on Friday ahead of our next dry front. We could even see some 100's along the border! Winds will blow really hard in north Texas, with forecasts of 60 mph gusts. Fortunately, our winds will likely stay below 50mph, but that's still bad, given our drought situation. Speaking of drought, I still don't see a rain event on the horizon.
