Still a chance for rain on Sunday night…

No big changes in the past 24hrs. A cool front will be moving through south-central Texas on Sunday night and south Texas early on Monday morning. A broken line of storms will form along the front as it sweeps through our area, dropping some rain (mostly under a half an inch) over the Hill Country and generally north of a Del Rio to San Antonio to Houston line. There is a tiny chance for severe storms, but as of this post, the greatest odds for severe weather will be in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Once this front pushes through, look for lows in the upper 40’s and 50’s and highs in the 70’s and 80’s next week. Our next chance for rain will come eerily close to the total eclipse! The latest model runs show a strong cold front moving through around the 7th of April with a chance for several inches of rain. I’m hoping this system moves through earlier than predicted…there could be lingering clouds on the 8th. I’ll have an eclipse forecast tomorrow.
