Let’s think “end of October”.

Yet another depressing update! High pressure rules, the tropics will send a wimpy wave over the weekend that will only bring some rain along the coast and temperatures will remain above normal for the foreseeable future.
Before you decide to jump from a bridge with likely no water underneath it, this pattern will eventually change as we move into late October, with the evil high pressure over the west breaking down. I have posted two of the long-range models and they both are bullish for at least some rain chances returning by the third week. As for the above normal temperatures, those are not forecast to go away, however, with less and less daylight, we should eventually see our highs ease into at least the 80's instead of the 90's.
If things don't change soon, I may have to apply for the protected witness program...please remember that I am only the poor messenger!
