Shorts, then parkas again!

2-16-24. 3:30pm. This Arctic Front Update is brought to you by Bahia Services and Rentals in Port O'Connor, TX https://www.facebook.com/BahiaServicesandRentals Rentals including Trash Dumpsters, Portable Toilets/Restroom Trailers, Hand Washing/Sanitizing Stations as well as Generators, Light Towers, Cooling-Warming Stations, and other rental equipment.

We will chill down to the 20’s and 30’s overnight, then zoom back into the 60’s tomorrow as the cold arctic air from front #1 slides east. By Tuesday, you can break out the shorts again as temperatures climb into the mid 70’s and even some 80’s in south Texas ahead of our rip roaring arctic airmass! Wednesday will be cold and windy with lows in the 20’s and 30’s and highs only in the 40’s! Thursday morning will be our coldest day with lows in the teens and 20’s. Friday and Saturday mornings will see lows in the 20’s and 30’s.

There is a chance for light precipitation returning on Friday, but as of post time, it looks like temperatures will be above freezing when it moves in. Most of the moisture will stay east of I-35.

The last week of February will see temperatures mainly in the 70’s for highs…no signs of arctic air! Rain odds may increase the first week of March…we shall see.
