After a nice break today with highs in the 70’s and 80’s, our first arctic front, in north Texas, is about to dramatically change things for tomorrow! When you wake up in the morning, temperatures will be in the 30’s and 40’s with north winds gusting to 25mph. Although we will warm up to the 50’s and low 60’s under sunny skies, temperatures will drop quickly into the 20’s and 30’s on Monday morning. By Tuesday, we will have forgotten about our drive-by arctic front as temperatures once again rise into the 70’s ahead of arctic front #2, which arrives Tuesday night. Wednesday morning, we will be convinced that we have been secretly transported to Siberia with north winds howling to 35mph and wind chills in the teens! Temperatures under sunny skies will mostly stay in the 30’s and 40’s during the day, then drop like a rock on Wednesday night. Thursday morning will be our coldest morning of the week, with teens and twenties for most areas. We will see 20’s and 30’s on Friday and Saturday mornings before a warming trend starts during the final week of the month.

As of this post, no ice or rain in the forecast.

Stay warm!
