Mainly dry and warm this week…

Rain odds have pretty much gone “poof” until Thursday afternoon-Friday, when our next front blows through. Tomorrow will start out humid like today, then turn dry and hot as a dryline moves in from West Texas and pushes eastward to around San Antonio, before retreating back to the west tomorrow night. Highs could hit 90 degrees in many locations in south and south-central Texas tomorrow afternoon. The good news is that most of the models are forecasting at least a little bit of rain Thursday afternoon and during the night. There could also be very scattered severe storms with the front, so stay tuned for updates!

Models continue to look more bullish around the 13th-15, but being over 10 days out, I’m not very excited yet…

The dryline will make a run to the east tomorrow…you can see by the dewpoint temperatures where it will be in the afternoon!

We could see some 90-degree temperatures tomorrow afternoon.

Below are the latest model runs for forecast rainfall totals from Thursday-Friday morning and the latest 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks from the CPC.
