March continues to live up to its reputation as the windy month! Even though it's not as windy as prior days, we are still seeing winds gusting to over 30mph from the south today for most locations. Yet another dry and windy front moves through tomorrow morning and any humidity that has increased today will be wiped clean by tomorrow as very dry air returns. A Red Flag Warning has been issued for a large percentage of south-central and south Texas on Wednesday.
I'm still feeling relatively bullish for a pattern change at the end of the month. The latest GFS model continues to forecast some decent rain from the 27th-31st and other models are at least forecasting some rain during that time period.
The details are in the graphics below! FYI: The front that will move through Texas in the morning moved through SW CO a couple of hours ago, giving us some snow showers and wind gusts to 46mph!
