Temps will be trending down for a change!

Dear low pressures:

Seriously, do you guys have to keep teasing us by moving into Mexico, then heading NE into the plains before you reach south Texas? Can you please just trek east for a change?

Thanks.

Mark

Here we go again…an impressive low pressure will move into Mexico, then thanks to the jet-stream, zoom into NE New Mexico, then the norther Panhandle, before moving out into the plains. We will see only the scraps for south Texas, with slightly better odds north of a Del Rio to San Antonio line on Sunday and Monday along the Pacific cool front. On Tuesday, the colder air starts filtering in with another stronger front and by Thursday and Friday morning we could be covering plants in the Hill Country as lows move down into the 30s!

As of today’s model runs, it looks like cooler than normal temps will be sticking around through Thanksgiving, which would be great for those of us who have an issue serving up a turkey dinner with the AC running!

Our tropical something will likely just spin around the Carribean, but could possibly impact Florida next week.

Our Sunday front will give us a chance for rain late on Sunday and Monday.

Our Tuesday front will eventually drop our lows into the 30's and 40's on Thursday and Friday of next week.

How much rain the latest models think will fall from Sunday-Monday of next week. Click on images to see them larger.
