Chilly but beautiful overnight!

A beautiful day out there today with highs only reaching the 50’s and 60’s after seeing lows in the 30’s and 40’s overnight. Look for even chillier temperatures tonight, so if you came close to a freeze, you might want to bring potted plants in and put some sheets over your flower beds to be on the safe side.
We’ll see a great weekend, weather wise, with clear skies tomorrow, then mostly cloudy skies on Sunday. There will be some clearing on Monday as another batch of cool air moves through from the NE. That cool air will be overridden by moisture starting on Monday night, when a trough develops along the coast. Look for a cloudy and murky week with light to moderate rain mainly south of a Del Rio to San Antonio to Houston line.
It’s still a little early to get excited, but by next weekend, most of the models are forecasting a Baja Low to form off the coast of Mexico, then track eventually straight into south Texas. If this verifies, a good chunk of south-central and south Texas will see some decent rain. I’ve included the latest model runs through the 10th to give you an idea of what could happen.
Enjoy the rest of your Black Friday!
