Foggy mornings ahead!
2-24-25. 4:30pm. This update is brought to you by Dietz-McLean Optical. www.dmoptical.com As a family-owned business, our independence, in house lab, great customer service and eyewear warranties, allows us to tailor your eyeglasses, lenses, and fittings: we want you to only expect the best after working with us. With six conveniently located optical shops in San Antonio, Boerne, Marble Falls and Temple, it’s easy to love what you see.
Just when you thought it was safe to travel, now that we are 40 degrees above freezing, the weather gods are going to throw some fog our direction for the next couple of mornings…especially SE of San Antonio. There is a Dense Fog advisory issued from midnight through 10am tomorrow morning for counties in grey on the graphic below.
Another round of fog is possible on Wednesday before a fog flushing front moves in Wednesday night, dropping our dew points and giving us some beautiful weather, with lows in the 40’s and highs in the 70’s…my favorite temperature range!
Our next chance for rain comes Sunday-Monday, as a trough dips south into Texas. Most of the models are keeping the best odds to our north and east, so as of today, I’m not too excited.
It’s too soon to make a “last freeze” prediction, but the latest CPC outlooks taking us into almost mid-March, continue to show better than 50/50 odds for above normal temperatures.
