Another evening of gloomy, foggy and drizzly weather before showers and thunderstorms start moving in tomorrow ahead of our upper-level low in southern California. The low will move right along the southern AZ and NM border before lifting to the NE on Thursday as a Pacific front sweeps our rain and clouds away in the afternoon. While there is a slight chance for severe storms with this system on Wednesday night and early Thursday, the best odds for severe weather will come on Thursday afternoon in east Texas as the rain is exiting our area. The best odds for rain will be north of HWY 90 and I-10 east as seen in the latest and greatest model runs.

Still no arctic air in site…we’ll dive into the long-range forecast tomorrow!
