I’ll be out of town this afternoon, so my post is a little earlier than usual.

It’s not my favorite way to get rain, but our current drizzle has actually added up a little over the past two days, with some locations east and southeast of San Antonio receiving over a quarter of an inch of liquid. Look for drizzle to transition into some showers during the day, then after midnight, becoming heavier with a chance for thunderstorms. Our next front will spark some storms overnight and early tomorrow morning and by late in the afternoon, the rain should be moving out. The latest models continue to forecast the best odds for rain north of HWY 90 and I-10 east to Houston.

Looking ahead, we may see another chance for some rain in about a week, but the models are not anywhere close to a consensus as of this post. Temperatures will feel more like spring, with highs in the 70’s and 80’s through at least the middle of next week, starting tomorrow.
