Happy Mother's Day!
As most of us know by now, the big rains stayed well to our north today. As usual, we are down to whatever forms along a wimpy cool front tomorrow. Looking at the latest HRRR model runs, it looks like storms will form along the border around 4am, then make a run to the east in the morning, ahead of the cool front. As the front passes through in the afternoon, there will be a second batch of scattered storms. Any of the storms tomorrow could become severe, but the best odds will be along and east of I-35 and I-37. The HRRR and NAM short range models are fairly bullish for some decent rain in the southern Hill Country and counties to the west of San Antonio...let's hope that verifies!
Additional chances for rain later in the week...I'll go over those odds tomorrow.
